Removing extracting images from word documents (2003/ 2000)

Hi Guys,

I'm trying to remove/ extract images from a word document. If you drag and
drop on desktop or right click, copy, and paste on desktop somtimes you get
an option to save a copy blah blah and you get the jpeg saved on the desktop.
Other times when you complete exactly the same operation it saves the image
as 'scrap'!!!!

Why would it do this?!!?? All i want is the jpeg or whatever format the
image is not blooming 'scrap'!

Any help much appreciated!!

Hi Goldie,

Try saving the document as a web page. When you do this, Word extracts all
the pictures for you. You can control the resolution via
Tools|Options|General|Web Options|Pictures, where you can also choose the
PNG format if you prefer.

Cheers

Cheers mate - it didn't work tho!! It wouldn't let me right click and save
the images when saved as a webpage

Ah well
