I am very new to Apple. I am taking a word processing class and had to purchase word, I have version 08. I have an assignment to create a timesheet and do a formula to compute my weekly hours. Somehow I have put in military time and am unable to remove it. I need to go back to regular hours. My assignment is due this afternoon and I have been trying to correct this for two days. I have tried to start the whole project over but in the new document it still comes up in military time, Any help appreciated

I'm not quite sure I understand - You refer to a word processing class &
using Word, but you're posting to the Excel newsgroup. It would help a great
deal if you'd clarify in more detail what program you're using, what the
source of the document is & exactly how you've attempted to "correct" it for
the last 2 days.

If it is an Excel worksheet have you tried selecting the cell with the time
in it & going to Format> Cells> Time to change the formatting? You may have
to re-enter the data afterwards.
