Removing hyperlinks

Is there a way of removing all the hyperlinks in a document at once?
At the moment I am right-clicking and selecting 'Remove hyperlink' for each
one; in long documents this can be tedious and unreliable.

If you don't have any other fields in the document (cross references, tables
of contents or similar), select the whole document and press Ctrl+Shift+F9.
This will unlink all your fields, and turn any hyperlinks to plain text.

If you do, then I think your only options are writing a macro or tedium and
unreliability.
