Hello Ian -
Sure - and while you're feeling perky you might as well start ripping wires
& other stuff you don't use out from the engine compartment of your car to
make it a little lighter... It'll probably save you a few cents worth of gas
over the course of a year - if it continues to run at all
Seriously, it can be done but invariably leads to problems down the road
with regard to updates & future upgrades. The scant amount of disk space
you'd recoup is not worth the risk. If disk space is at that much of a
premium you'd be far better off to purchase an additional drive or replace
your internal with a larger one. If you're like many users you can most
likely free up more space by getting rid of unneeded fonts & other
accumulated files - those you want to retain can be moved to CDs or USB
sticks or whatever so you can access them when necessary.
Just as much on point - Simply because *you* don't use them doesn't mean the
program doesn't. These days most people are getting content from other users
& via the web. You have no idea what language formatting has intentionally
or inadvertently been used in that content.
