Removing lines when creating labels & badges

How do I remove the lines dividing labels after creating
them in Word 2002/Windows XP? I chose "Hide Gridlines"
under the "Table" Tab, but they did not disappear.

Cahill,

Did you create a table to prepare your labels? You could be seeing borders.
Put your cursor anywhere in the lines and press CTRL+ALT+U to remove all
borders.
