Removing logged tracked changes from MS Script Editor

I noticed that even after accepting all tracked changes in
a Word 2002 document, if I view the code in the MS Script
Editor, all the tracked changes are still logged and a
simple 20-page text, table file is huge (10MB). Is there a
way to remove the logged tracked changes behind-the-scenes
or a way to shut-off the file from tracking changes once
they are accepted or declined?

Hi Dawn

It sounds like you have more going on there than just Track Changes. Are you
using the File > Versions feature? That just piles up all the versions in
one file. If it's on, turn it off.

The Fast Saves feature (in Tools > Options > Save) not only causes large
files but is prone to cause document corruption. If it's on, turn it off.

Document corruption could be a possibility. See
