Removing menu items

Hello all,
I am running Access 2k, I have a user that has taken an Access class at the
local college and now they are bypassing set procedures and doing things the
way the college professor told them. "Use the filter options off the menus
....." well this is a situation where the person happens to be family of the
owners and it is very hard to correct them. I need to be able to do away with
certain menu choices without having to change the database into a runtime
version. Can this be done and if so how? Thanks in advance for your
assistance.

You must implement user level security or possibly create an MDE which might
slow that person down.

HOWEVER you will probably have problems as it's a family run business.
Unless you think that the owners will support you, express your concerns and
document them. Also document any future changes. Be prepared to defend
yourself if the database stops working properly. Still it might not matter as
family is family.
