removing Office XP

I went to a reputable dealer to purchase Office XP.
Without my knowledge, the dealer sold me a perused copy
of Office XP. The installation went fine, but I could not
open any Office XP applications. I keep getting
a "prepare to install" message when I tried to open a new
file.

Upon reading the disclaimer on the product, I discovered
that Office XP could not be loaded onto more than one
computer. So, I returned the product to the dealer.

I have tried to remove Office XP using the "Add/Remove"
program function, but this is not working. When I had the
disc, I tried to re-install Office XP and using
the "add/remove" program feature, but that did not work.

Since, I no longer have the disc, what can I do to remove
this program?

All my old MS Office programs are no longer functioning!
PLEASE HELP! I have a term paper due Monday!

This has nothing to do with the fact that the disc had been opened and
returned.

Upon reading the disclaimer on the product, I discovered
that Office XP could not be loaded onto more than one
computer. So, I returned the product to the dealer.

Incorrect, it *can* be installed on more than one system (unless it was OEM
or the Students and Teachers Edition). It cannot be installed on more than
one of the same TYPE of computer (i.e. 2 desktops or two laptops).

If you no longer have the disc how on earth did you attempt the
reinstallation?

Since, I no longer have the disc, what can I do to remove
this program?

You cannot. The CD is required to uninstall.

All my old MS Office programs are no longer functioning!
