removing old Office , adding new Office that has PowerPoint

My current version of Office does not have PowerPoint. I
have a new version that includes PowerPoint. Will I lose
documents, emails, addresses, settings, etc. if I remove
the old Office programs and load the new Office programs?
I have been warned that I cannot load just the PowerPoint
from the new Office suite.
