Removing old timesheet tasks?

We are implementing the Project 2003. My users see a list of weeks where
they have not submtted a timesheet. How can I remove the tasks from the end
users view in project web access. These are from many weeks past when we
were not using the system.

Any help is appreciated.

Are the tasks in an active ongoing project or from a test project? If from
an active project, team members can hide the tasks by selecting a task and
clicking the Hide button. If they are from an old test project, you can
delete the old project in PWA by clicking Admin - Clean up Project Server
Database. Hope this helps.

Is there no other way to remove the task from an individuals project web
access view?
- remove project from system
- remove individual from project

There should be a way of removing this task (for say test projects)

You can also go to Admin - Clean up Project Server database and select the
option to remove tasks. When you do so, you should specify the date range
for the tasks to remove. What are you trying to accomplish with all this?
If they are test projects, why don't you simply delete them if they are not
longer needed?
