Removing or hiding cost information

That's why I prefer not to give my customer the MPP file. I usually will
print the project to a PDF and give that to the customer.

You can't make it unavailable. But a macro (or you can do it manually) can
set cell values to zero. Cost is usually based on Resource Rates som put
zero in the rates and fill Baseline Cost with zero before sending file away.

Rememberinbg, of course, to make a COPY of the original to send the client
and and zero'ing rates in the copy but keeping the original intact for
yourself. LOL

Hello,
Is there a way to remove or hide the cost information? I want the baseline
and actual cost fileds to be unavailabe to the person I give the MSP file. I
just cant delete it unless I clear the base line which I dont want to. Is
there some code you can write to make the cost info unavailable to anyone?
Thanks

Tomm,
There are numerous cost (currency) fields in MSP. I could change baseline
cost to 0 but the variance field will
now show the cost, and I cant edit that. I have to clear the base line to do
that. Also there will be values in actual
and remaining cost....so a reasonably competent person could figure out the
costs.
Is there some way to hide a column....and prevent someone from unhiding it?
Thanks
