The suggestion giving in the user group of changing the password & just
leaving the new password entries blank just does not work on my system.
Brand new Win 7 released version installation. Ofice 2007.
When opening Outlook, a screen titled 'Personal Folders Password'
opens.Giving it the password & clicking OK, Outlook opens. Going File > Data
File Management, highlighting folder > Settings > Change Password.... a
'Change Password' screen opens. Entering the old password, leaving the new
password entries untouched & clicking OK, a 'Personal Folders' screen opens
with the error message: 'The password you have typed is incorrect. Retype
password.'
I have tried it numerous times, always with the same result.
Any help would be appreciated.
