Removing placeholders PPT2004

Im trying to make a template that is really and truly
blank. No matter what I try, adding a new slide gives me a slide with a
placeholder for a title and a placeholder for text. I've tried making a new
slide design, a new template, and removing everything from the master.

Is there a way to remove placeholders ?

Yep, new slide always uses the title & bullet points layout. Annoying, isn't
it?

At least that's how it is for us PC users - you may want to ask the mac

Shyam has a free addin that allows PC users to set the new slide layout. Not
sure if it works on Macs
