removing project 4.1 from my system

Recently I discovered that I still have project 4.1
loaded on my machine along with project 98. If I remove
4.1 does my 98 have problems? Back then they may have
been tied together.

It is fairly small so if it has not been bothering you then I'd probably
just leave it.
I don't think it will have an effect, but there is a chance.

Michael,
It depends. If Project 98 was an upgrade version, some of the files from
Project 4.1 may be needed by Project 98 particularly if you have to
re-install for some reason. Unless you are having problems (i.e. Project
98 not working properly), I would leave it alone. I have Project 4.x,
Project 98, Project 2000 and Project 2003 all loaded on my computer.

Well,

it was hard for me to imagine but I am down to my last
few gigs on a 30 gig drive, just trying to free up some
space

and it is an upgrade version

It sounds like you need to do some housecleaning and get rid of all
those .jpg and .mov files you've been downloading Seriously though,
burn some CDs or DVDs and you can probably save a bunch of hard drive
space.
