Removing quotes in a document

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the quoted text in a document
and replace it with bolded text, using the Find/Replace dialogue box.

I can select the text in quotes by finding: '*' - with wildcards
selected, and can replace it with bold text, but I can't seem to get
the replace box to accept the wildcard option, as it literally just
replaces my search string with an asterix. Any ideas?

I remember doing something like this in a 250-page manual of operations
a few years ago. What I did was created a macro and placed the macro
button on my toolbar so I could use it whenever I wanted.

There's a great set of instructions on how to use wildcards at
http://word.mvps.org/FAQs/General/UsingWildcards.htm, and you may be
able to use that to set up the steps of your macro, then make the last
step bold text.

Good luck!
