Removing resource from a project plan

We have had several cases where a resource has been complety removed from a
project plan (i.e. the resource has been deleted from the Resource Sheet and
any tasks to which they were assigned ) - yet the project continues to be
displayed in the resource's Project Centre view. This after the changed plan
has been saved and re-published. Can anyone suggest why this is happening and
how to overcome it please ?

You republished, but did you republish assignments?

Hi Rod

Thanks for your response. Yes, this particular resource name does not appear
anywhere in the project plan. I just republished all assignments for the
project again but still the project appears in the resource's project centre
view. Strange !
