Removing returns & _________ spaces in tables

Christine

Hi, I'm trying to remove returns & blank spaces that show up as ___________
within a table. I have multiple tables with this format & need to change
without manually selecting each return to delete.

I've tried to remove all formats, repaste into a new doc etc., can't seem to
figure out how to.

Any helps appreciated. Thanks,

Have you tried selecting the table and then using Find and Replace? For
example, to get rid of multiple successive paragraph marks (shown as ¶
symbols with nonprinting marks displayed), you can replace ^p^p with
nothing.

Thanks, I did try the find/replace & it doesn't remove it either. :( For
now, I'm taking the long way, copy/paste into excel then copy paste into
access, then back into excel to create a .csv file. It's a pain! Any other
ideas? Thaks

If you want to send a copy of the offending table (or a portion of it) with
a copy of what you want it to look like, to the link on my web site I will
see if I can identify the issue.
