Removing Subprojects

I am trying to remove some subprojects from Project 2003. When I highlight
the project(task) to delete nothing happens.
Also, is there a limit to the # of projects that you can add to a master
project?
I keep on getting a statement that the project can't be added because it's
already there, and I had just created it.

Hi bb-procure,
Have you tried selecting the row number of the inserted project and
deleting? By default, project 2003 will only erase the name of the task if
you press delete while in the task name field.
According to project specification, you may have 998 inserted projects.
As far as the message about the project file already being there - you
cannot insert the same project in a master project file more than once.

Sometimes you can get that statement that it can't be added because you are
adding a subproject which contains a subproject which already exists in the
master project.

In some cases the simplest and best thing to do is simply create a new
master project and insert the subprojects fresh.
As long as you have no tasks in the master project (something I'd recommend
against doing by the way) then it won't take much time to do this.
