Removing tasks from "Resource View"

I have MS Project 2002 std and running project server 2002
successfully. I have a couple of resources that no longer
work for the company and have completed tasks, but never
updated Project Web Access. So, I went into the actual
mpp file (as the PM) and marked the tasks 100% complete
using "tools / tracking / update task". The actual MS
Project file shows the tasks and the project 100%
complete, however when I log onto PWA and
select "Resources" from the menu, it shows the tasks for
those resources still at 0% and 33% respectively. These
resources have been removed from the network by the IT
admin, so nobody can log onto PWA using their accounts.
If I click on "Projects" in PWA, and select the project I
am concerned with, the tasks show that they are
completed. How can I update the "Resources" view to show
these tasks as complete? I have tried to see if I
could "hide" the tasks, but that option is not there under
this view. HELP!

Open the project in question, then click Collaborate - Publish - Republish
Assignments. Select the checkbox called "Overwrite actual work entered by
resources" and then click OK. This will "push" the Actual Work values from
the project plan to PWA for each resource. Hope this helps.
