Removing the header of a UserForm in Word 2007

Lasse

Hi

I am creating a UserForm in Word 2007 and would like to remove the header of
the form, the part where I can type a headline and where the Close button is.

I would like the form to contain nothing else than my textbox.

Any ideas?

Remove the entry for the Caption of the userform.

Hi Doug

Thanks for your reply.

I am interested in removing the area completely, not just the writing.

Any idea?

That cannot be done as you cannot eliminate the White X on Red Background
button that will close the form.

Imagine the pickle you would be in if you created a form without a command
button that included code to close it and you were able to remove the above
mentioned button.

Of course if you wrote code to disable the [X] Close button and provided no
other functionality to dismiss the form you'd still be in the same pickle...
;-D

(BTW, Lasse, this is a hint on how to possibly achieve your desired goal.
There have been several recent posts on the subject of disabling the [X]
Close button, most of which contained a link to an article on how to do it.
Poke around and I'm sure you'll find it.)
