removing track changes in word document--in attachement

OK, here is my situation...I have a document that I sent for some revisions,
that person made the revisions. I know to click 'Final" on the review tab,
under tracking so that they are not showing on the screen. I save, but when
I attach the document to an email & launch it from there, the tracking marks
are all over the page again, which is obviously NOT what I want/need to send.

Can someone please help? Do I have a default setting somewhere I need to
change? Thanks!
