Removing track changes

How do I completely remove all signs of track changes in
a document? Would copying to a new document with Paste
Special do it? Thanks!

Hi Maria,

Select the whole document (CTRL+A).
Click Tools-> Track Changes-> Accept or Reject Changes.
Click Accept All (or Reject All if you want to trash all
the changes.

Whatever you do, don't try to just "hide" the changes, as
some well-meaning folks may advise. This not only doesn't
remove them, it can profoundly confuse the next person who
edits the file.

You need to accept all changes. Depending on which
version of Word you're using, the method varies.

In XP, show the reviewing toolbar (View Toolbars
Reviewing). Then click the blue check box drop down to
Accept All Changes.

In previous versions of Word, I believe the option was
under Tools, Track Changes.

Good luck.
