removing unwanted characters from spreadsheet

I have saved a large web page with huge tables of numbers.
I open this file in IE and copy and paste the table into
an excel spreadsheet. The numbers are imported as text. I
find that each number is followed by a character 202 from
the Macintosh Character Set.

What I want is a simple way to remove these from within Excel.

If I import the data to word, I can do a replace (^0202)
with nothing and it replaces them. But this doesn't seem
to work within Excel. Since I have lots of them to do, I'd
like to avoid all the extra steps.

Thanks

Do a replace, replacing opt-Space with nothing.
