Removing unwanted link

I don't know how, but somehow a massive XL workbook I'm developing has
picked up a link to a workbook I have discarded. I want to delete the link,
but don't know where it is.

I have searched for a text string containing a unique part of the name of
the linked workbook - not a trivial exercise as my workbook contains over 20
worksheets, and as far as I can tell I have to search each worksheet
seperately - but I still can't find the link.

Any other ideas?

Hi,

If you are using Excel 2004 just go to the Edit menu. Choose Links, then
click the "Break Link" button.

Thanks Peo, worked a treat. Thank God for guys like you and guys like Bill.

And Jim, that link-breaker sounds like a welcome addition - but I'm on Mac
Excel X (still waiting for MS to ship Mac Office 2004 Pro - dum-de-dum - any
month now...)
