rename a side note?

I have really enjoyed the easy access of the OneNote system tray icon. It
has proven to be quite handy. I often use it to jot down quick note or for
screen clips.

I currently have it set to save the new side note in the Unfiled Notes
section. Then from there I organize the page it appropriately. But the
problem I run into is this: I can't figure out how to rename the pages that
are found in the untitled notes section. This partly due to the fact that
they lack the title bar.
This presents a problem for my organization scheme if I can't assign a page
with an appropriate title.

Does anyone have any ideas?
Thank you!

In OneNote, open the page that you want to rename. On the Format menu is the
command to show the page title. Show it and you can name the page there.

Or, if you want, you can type text above all the other outlines on the page
and OneNote will use the topmost text as the title which shows in the UI.

Ah yes! Thank you. That is what I was looking for. I don't know how I
missed it.
So my next question is: can I make it show the title bar by default for new
side notes?

Thank you so much!

No with the WIN+N shortcut key or the tray icon.

The goal behind those two methods of creating a side note is to quickly as
possible give you a place to jot down your information with minimal intrusion.

Thanks again for your help.
I'm figuring out the source of my problem is that the new side notes are
automatically created in "full page view." The good news is that I just got
used to using F11 to get out of that view. That allows me to see all of the
options that I need to see.

I'm amazed at how many features there are in ON. I discover new ones every
day!

Thanks again.
