Rename default fields

Is there a way to rename the default fields.
For eg. renaming "BCWS" to "PV" etc.

Any help will be appreciated.

Hello Sameer,
No, you can't rename a standard project field such as BCWS. You just can
change its Title.
If you really need to use your "PV" label in a formula, you can create a
custom field such as Cost1 with a simple formula : [BCWS] and rename it as
"PV".
