Renaming database

I moved and renamed my secured database and the workgroup file, and then
adjusted the shortcut to point at the right directory and file. However, I
get an error message saying that the database (the old filename) can't be
found. Is the workgroup file permanently associated with the original
filename or am I simply missing a step? Thanks.

Is your database split? Might it be saying it can't find the location of
the backend (if you moved it too)? If so, go to Tools, Database Utilities,
Linked Table Manager and refresh the links to the backend's new location.

If it isn't split, then check all of your code for any reference to the old
location.
