Folder renaming on a Mac is like falling off a Log it isn't done within
any application.
This procedure also applies to files as well.
below or beside the File or folder icon is name of said item. Click on
it once to highlight. Now, click again (not fast that will open either
the file or folder). this time you'll notice a rectangular shaped
bounding box around the name now mouse to desired location in Bounding
box and remove or add desired text or click-hold and move mouse one
direction or the other to highlight desired text. Start typing desired
name. old text will disappear and new text will appear as you type.
When through just click anywhere out side the bound box and name is set.
If your unsatisfied with name, click on edit menu from finder before
doing anything else you should see undo rename, or undo. click, and
start over.
Word for Mac is new to me. I am unable to do something as basic as
RENAMING A FOLDER. Any suggestions?
The Help function doesn't work, just gives a ping. Anyone else having
that bother?
