Renaming Projects in PWA

Hi,
I am wondering if it is possible to change Project names in PWA.. I have
tried going into Project Pro and Saving the project as a new name and
re-publishing, but the new project does not have any of the risks or issues
that are associated with the original project. Is there any way to change a
name in PWA without losing those associations? Thanks

Jason,

You need to use the project renamer utility that M$ provides. This is a PDS extension and is not a click-and-go- kind of tool. It needs to be installed on the project server machine and then you need to create a way to invoke it. You can use the PDSTest utility to do that once you get the renamer installed properly.

Saving as a new project creates an entirely different project and ergo, an entirely new project workspace so of course, no documents, issues and risks carry over. Sorry.

Or, you could try to move all the documents, issues and risks over manually from the original site to the new one.
