Rendering Issue with MS Office Version 12.0.4518.1014

Hi,

I have an email rendering issue on machines that have Microsoft Office
Version 12.0.4518.1014 installed. Later versions do not have this issue.

I am creating an email newsletter and when received through Outlook version
12.0.4518.1014, certain images appear distorted, displaying at a larger
percentage than their actual dimension.

I have tried various styling techniques within the HTML, but to no avail.

So, it would appear that the issue is with this particular version of Office.

Does anyone know of a work-around or how to resolve this issue?

Thanks in advance,
Jane

Hi Jane,

When you're saying that you don't see the problems in 'later versions' you're referring to an updated Office 2007, but that it's an
issue not with the later version creating the HTML, but with folks using an earlier (than current) Office 2007 version to read HTML
email?

If that's the case, then you may want to consider sending as a PDF attachment. Folks who may be receiving your HTML email on other
email clients may have HTML switched off, or have other rendering issues.
