have front page 2000

try to install on windows xp
when i try to install that then i get a message saying failed to locate a
qualifying
product on my hard drive

then it searches for one and says error 1608 could not find previously
installed
product on machine

please help

You are trying to install an upgrade, which requires a previous full version
as a qualifying product.

Please don't post twice and try to put a question, rather than 'renee b" in
the subject line.

you're installing an "upgrade" ? that will check for the qualifying product
(a previous version of the same product you're installing) and if it can't
find it, will usually then ask for the install cd of the previous version.
