rental agreement template for dwellings

Stephen M

I am looking for a simple or otherwise template for a residential rental and
or lease agreement. I have searched all the templates on-line with Microsoft
Office and also on my PC and can't find anything to use. I have Office 2007
and would think this would be a common template to find but I haven't been
successful. Someone please help and direct in the right direction or provide
me with one please.

The problem is that each community has its own rules for what's legal. You
can certainly try to see if your local office supply house carries blanks
but my suggestion would be to speak for a lawyer who deals in real estate
laws.

Hello and thank you for your advice as it may be what I must take. I really
do not need it for a legal and binding purpose so much. If I could just find
one that has the general idea and then I could improvise it to suite my needs.

So with that in mind, I would be most grateful if anyone out there could
help me.
Anything will do, I just need something to work with. I have a renter that
needs it for their records to prove they are living in my rental house for
address purposes.
It is family, so I'm not worried so much about the legalities for my
protection.

Thanks again, Stephen

Thank you so much! The template you provided was perfect. I didn't have to
change much at all.

Best regards, Stephen
