reoccuring events

I keep a few hundred birthdays/ important events as reoccuring events in my
outlook calendar and I link my outlook to a blackberry. If I look at today
for example it shows john smith's birthday as 2 events but it also shows john
smith's birthday as an event tomorrow. If I look at 1-17-2005 it shows the
birthday only once and it does not show up on 1-18-2005. I randomly scrolled
through the year and it is a consistent theme 2005 is accurate but 2006 is
totally out of whack. Have you ever heard of this and is there a cure?

Possible mismatch in time zone or DST setting between Outlook and the
Blackberry, is my guess.

I thought that but the times match up. The error seems to coencide with the
change of the year. Dec 31st records are good but Jan 1st's are bad.
