Reoccuring Tasks

I'm trying to create a weekly reoccuring task. I can
create the task, the problem i'm having is when I check
the box to show the task completed, the next occurence of
this task show up for the next week immediatley. I don't
want to see reoccuring task until the day that it is next
due to be completed.

You could try using the "Regenerate new task X
day(s)/week(s)/month(s)/year(s) after each task is completed" feature...this
option appears on the Task Recurrence dialog box.

I've tried that as well. I have a co-worker who is able to
set up a task the way that I'am trying to. I have copied
her set ups and defaults exactly, as far as I know, and I
still can't make it happen correctly. If you have anymore
ideas, let me know! I appreciate the help!

How do you have yours set up?

The other setting to check is View, Taskpad View - what's hers set for and
what's yours set for?? These settings make a huge difference.

Alternatively, as a work around, make the recurring Task an Event instead.
