Reoccuring Tasks

I have set up a monthly reoccuring task that I would like
to have on the 5th working day of each month.

I can get tasks to reoccur on the fifth day of the month;
I can get them to not fall on weekends, but I cannot get
them to not count a weekend day as one of the 5 days.

Any ideas?

Hi JS,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup

You will have to create a new calendar (or use the 24 hour calendar) to
"release" the week-ends for work. Then apply that callendar to the
recurring task in the Recurring Task dialog.
