Reorder tabs

hi

I am trying to re-order the tabs on the right so the most recent note is at
the top, is that possible ?

Yes, but only by moving the page tabs manually. (There is currently no
automatic sort option available)

1) Left-click (and keep the left mouse button depressed) on any page tab

2) Nudge your mouse slightly to the right

3) Your cursor will become a double headed arrow and a small black arrow
will appear next to the page tab

4) Move your page tab vertically up and down to wherever you want to move it
(the small black indicator -- which follows your mouse movement -- will
indicate where the page will be placed)

5) Release the left mouse button.

this is not working for me - I just get the menu everytime ?

Yes, it is difficult to get into move-this-page mode (requires fine motor
skills and long training), try to follow the steps presizely:
- click on the page tab to navigate to the page
- click on the same page tab again to select the page (tab becomes blue) and
blue outline shows around the page
- drag slightly to the right (to the left if you've chosen to show page tabs
on the left) - that's when small black arrow should appear
- drag along the page tabs riffle to move the page

And, no, there is no menu to move a page within the same section, but...

There is a shortcut!
Select a page and press Alt+Shift+Up Arrow to move page up or Alt+Shift+Down
Arrow to move page down

I got it, despite the above being a little sarcastic I have to say I think
it is hard to move tabs, or should I say it could be easier to move tabs ?

totally, that would be ace, or even the ability to right click and select
move and you could drag it where ever.

Right-click > Move (albeit not drag-n-drop) already exists for the
Section/Folder but, to me, is counter-intuitive and the entire Move
procedure is currently a PITA.

I'd love drag-n-drop on all tabs although, IMHO, any drag-n-drop should be
left-click > drag (like any other Windows application).

(Drag-n-dropping of Section/Folder tabs was the first thing I tried when I
first trialled OneNote and I was rather surprised that it was not available.
I still love ON though despite its v.1.0 limitations)
