Reosurce Assignment

I am using pooled resources for 8 projects. I created a pool file and
entered the three resources. I have assigned the resources to tasks, but am
confused by the ’Assign Resources’ popup window. The resources I entered are
shown interspersed with an apparently random set of dates. How do I remove
the dates so that only my resources are visible? Thanks very much.

Odd. MIght you look in your separate project files and the resource.mpp to
see if someone accidentally created a resource with a date as a name? Sounds
odd.

Jim,

It turned out to be related to the resource.mpp file. When I first tried to
enter resources, I thought I had to create a milestone task because the
assign button was greyed-out. When I removed the task, the dates also
disappeared from the resource.mpp and my project file. All of my resource
assignments also disappeared, but that is easy to fix.
