Repair access file

Hi,

I have a database that I work with on a flash drive. In the process of
saving a report, there is a message saying that there is bot enough space on
the flash drive and my database cecome corrupt. I can open the file and see
all the rerports. When I try to Compact and Repair, I receive message as
below:

Microsoft Access has detectd a corruption in this file. Try to repais the
corruption, first make a backup copy .....


I try to compact and repair but cannot succed. Could someone assist?

First, make the back up then take original off the flash drive and put it on
a hard drive with three times the space as the datafile requires. Then make
sure it isn't write protected and you have full access to it. Now try
compact repair. If it still fails your best bet would be to create a new
blank datafile and import all the tables forms ect from the old one.
Recreate all your relationships and go from there.

Hi,
for repair your database you need to open a blank database and import
forms, tables and queries from old database. If compact and repair utility is
giving error message then you can use access repair software as Stellar
phoenix access recovery software. It supports all version of MS access. you
can download it from here

There is a tool called Advanced Access Repair. I have used it to
repair many corrupt Access MDB files on my damaged disks successfully.
Its homepage is http://www.datanumen.com/aar/ Maybe you can have a
try.

Might the reason why you've "used it to repair many corrupt Access MDB
files" be because you work for the company?
