Repair Office 2000 without CD?

Hello, I build XP laptop images for my corporation and it contains
Office 2000. Is there a way to setup my image so that Office could be
repaired without CDs? Maybe a subset of files from the install CDs
copied to a folder on the hard drive could suffice?

We do not wish to deploy install CDs to the entire field for various
obvious reasons and the users are quite annoyed at having to re-image
and re-configure their laptop if any of their office applications fail
to run. Thanks.

What about a network share? When setup requests the files, point it there.
