repair tool, installing outlook

E

Elizabeth Garcia

A few days back I went to the Microsoft website, updated everything.

I then noticed that in Outlook I couldn't compose a new email. Also couldn't
respond to any of emailers. Many of the buttons or functions on the top of
the window were simply grey-ed out. I wasn't able to click on them.

So in my attempt to fix things, I checked all my settings as best I could
cause many things in the menus were also greyed out.

I then clicked on "Repair" and that's when it seems that outlook was being
deleted from my system.

Now when I start my computer outlooks seems to be installing BUT the problem
is that outlook was included when I bought this computer so I don't have the
software CD so it doesn't install.

What do I do?

Thank you.

You should read your material that was supplied with the PC or their online
help, as if your PC was supplied with a fully functioning version of Office
the PC manufacturer should have supplied some means of restoring, it may be
that it is on a hidden partition
