Whew...
OfficeXP Standard CD had an open, pale yellow Office1
Folder, with 191MB but I couldn't see anything in it.
I tried to Repair from 'Setup', but got an error message,
so I right-clicked 'Stdret' ("This installer database
contains the logic and data required to install Microsoft
Office XP Standard.")and ran Repair, twice. First time
gave me 83.7MB (85 files; 7 folders)in the top folder,
which was previously empty, but I still couldn't install
components, so I ran it again.
Now I can see all kinds of goodies in the Office1 Folder
and Excel easily installed.
What happened?
