Hi,

I would like to repair my Access 2.0 file associations in the registry.

I know that we can use "/regserver" command line switch to register
MS Access 97.

I was wondering if a similar kinda switch or something that automatically
repairs the registry settings for Access 2.0.

Any suggestions?

Cheers,

Naveen.

Hi Doug,

I've done the following changes to the registry,

HKCR\.mda = Access.Database.2
HKCR\.mdb = Access.Database.2

Still my,

HKCR\Access.Application is pointing to Access.Application.11

Anyway,

When I double clicked on one of the Access 2.0 databses, for example,
"xyx.mdb"
I've got the following warning,

" Database 'xyz' was created by a previous version of Microsoft Access. you
won't be able t save changes made to object definitions in this database".

Did I miss any registry settings? Pls let me know,

Note: I've got 2 types of databases, one type uses Access 2.0 runtime but
the other type use Access 2003 runtime. After installing Access 2003 runtime,
I would want to open databases using either Access 2.0 or Access 2003
depending on the databse type.

Cheers,

Naveen.
