"Repairs" message in Word appears useless.

I don't understand why Word insists on repairing brand new docs that I
create. How do new docs get corrupted within the first five minutes of their
lives?

Just so you know, this is a question (new post) rather than a
Suggestion for Microsoft.

Suggestion type posts are more for application enhancements that can
be voted on by others. Suggestions the most votes will be answered by
Microsoft.
