repeated downloads of messages in Outlook 2007

Last week I couldn't receive any messages. I used POP3 through Yahoo.
I upgraded my Yahoo account and so now I'm getting messages. But Outlook
2007 has repeatedly downloaded my messages, over 10,000 every few hours.
I can't keep up with the delete.
I have 2 accounts on outlook, my email and also popbizyahoo.
