repeated subtasks

I have a very large project with hundreds of tasks. There
are about 800 tasks that will have the same set of
subtasks. Is there an easy way to insert the subtasks
under each of the tasks? I don't relish the idea of cut-
and-paste for this - it would take me hours!

Bite the bullet <grin> If you collapse the first set of subtasks into their
summary, you can copy and paste the summary over and over to get the results
you need with minimal hassle. If it's any consolation, the planning phase
of a project can consume anything from 15 to 30 percent of the total project
time frame. With 800 summary tasks, you're lucky it's hours. Typically
properly developing such a schedule would take days if not weeks to
complete.
