Repeating characters to fill cell width

I am trying to figure out how to input a character into a
cell and have it repeat the complete width of the cell.
In other words, it won't matter how wide the cell is, the
number of characters will repeat to fill the space. Can
someone help?

You can format the cell to fill across:

1. Type a character in the cell
2. Choose Format>Cell, Alignment tab
3. From the Horizontal dropdown, choose Fill
4. Click OK

In addition if you want leaders after the text as in Jen______ or Jen......
you can Format>Number>Custom @*_ or @*.
