Repeating Emails

I received a spam message on Tuesday 11/10 at 6:00PM. I then continued to get about 20 more and created a rule to automatically send mail from that sender to my deleted files.

I have since received 3,000+ of the SAME message. I have my Outlook 2002 set up to check for new mail once a minute. Each time it does this, I receive the same message from Tuesday 11/10 at 6:00PM. Is there any way to stop the redundancy? I don't mind that it's going to my deleted box, but I get a notification each time I have new mail, and it's getting REALLY annoying. Thanks!

This is a microsoft Project newsgroup. Try asking on an outlook newsgroup.
But since you asked, this is what I would do:
Turn off notification,
check mail less often,
get a new email address,
try Spambayes (it is great).

Please try to keep replies in this group. I do check e-mail, but only
infrequently.
