Repeating Fields Help

I'm confused about what a repeating field is. When I create a text box why
would you need to select repeating.

Any quick help would be greatly appreciated it.

Hi Rob,

Start a new blank form and drop a repeating table (with 3 columns) on you
form. Now, go to the data Source to look at the schema. You will see that
group2 is repeating.
Now, run that form and look how you can add rows to the Table on the fly...

Regular sections have a fixed content. You can't add multiple instances of
a non-repeation group.

Thanks Frank. I know how repeating tables work.

Maybe I'm over thinking this. If create a new text field by itself in the
data source. why would someone check off Repeating Field option?

You could pick repeating and drop for example a "Bulleted List" on your
form. Then, you would be able to multiple instances of the field.
