repeating keys

Pat although not a Word problem, it sure affects it.
Here's what you do...

Click...

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Keyboard: and modify
the repeat and delay settings to suit your needs.

i'm having the same problem. The start-control panel-keyboard fix did not work. It has something to do with holding down the shift key for more than 8 seconds. please help
