Repeating letters

Hi

I am observing that whenever i open any word application, before i can write anything on the page some specific letter keeps on repeating on my page multiple times and the page is filled with that letter only

This is not allowing me to use word

Please let me know the soln. If this is a virus (which i could not detect) please provide pointer/tips to overcome it
